LacPhen Systems is an hybrid phenolic water based technology with min VOC, superior flexural strength, tg and antifire resistance. They are great systems advised for applications requiring high performance under extreme conditions: train bodywork and interiors, boats and car-racings, aerospace & defence, ballistics and industrial equipment.
The Lachphen Systems are advised for quick curing cycles under VaRTM or compression molding offering a cure cycle in less than 3min at 150ºC ! Great to maximise your production capacity.
Alternatively, expect a curing cycle from 70ºC in less than an hour.
The Lacphen Systems are no like any other phenolic system featuring a free paraformaldehyde content <0.1% and a free phenol content <5%. They do not smell aggressively and offer less hazard during handling thanks to the water-content.
